Scott Koslow – President & CEO
SSI’s President and CEO is Mr. Scott Koslow. Mr. Koslow is a Navy retiree with over 30 years of DoD-focused experience.
Mr. Koslow’s background in defense contracting is broad-based. While on active duty, he was a technical expert and end-user of contractor deliverables. As the Division Director and Senior Contracts Manager for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Ventura County, California, he held an unlimited warrant and was responsible for ensuring contractor performance. In addition, Mr. Koslow has worked for defense contractors of various sizes as a Chief Growth Officer, Vice President of West Coast Operations, Director of Business Development, and in other roles. As a result, he has deep expertise in management functions, including program management and executive management, and an in-depth understanding of Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and contract cost and pricing strategies.
Mr. Koslow also has over 10 years’ experience preparing “winning” proposals, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating $100M+ contracts. He has a deep understanding of complex agreements (domestic and international), foreign military sales (FMS), and U.S. contracts (CPAF, CPFF, IDIQ, FFP, T&M, BOA).
Mr. Koslow has a proven track record of implementing start-up contract administration and management departments and managing, supervising, and motivating high-performance contract management teams. He has a consistently proven ability to provide outstanding customer satisfaction and service (to internal as well as external customers) and to hit the ground running, inspire others, and produce exceptional results.
As SSI’s President and CEO Mr. Koslow ensures that:
- SSI personnel have every necessary resource to successfully perform;
- SSI’s program managers receive rapid corporate support for contracts, task orders, and subcontracts, including finance, human resources, purchasing (including subcontracting), security, and contract management; and
- SSI delivers performance excellence in achieving cost, schedule, and quality objectives as well as customer outcome expectations.
Mr. Koslow has a Top Secret security clearance, DAWAII Level III Contract Management Certification, is Lean Six Sigma Certified, is a Certified Project Manager and a Certified Contracts Manager.
Mr. Koslow’s education includes a BBA in International Business and an MS in Information Technology Project Management.
Mr. Koslow is based at the company’s Camarillo, California, headquarters.
